Tandivale Equestrian Centre, located in Warrandyte South, Manningham City, has been providing comprehensive equestrian education since 1976. As one of the longest-running equestrian schools in Australia, Tandivale specialises in teaching beginner and novice students the art of horse riding and care.

Situated on 18 acres of land, just 28 km from Melbourne CBD, Tandivale boasts fully enclosed facilities to ensure the safety of all riders. The centre features a floodlit dressage arena, a show jumping arena, cross country jumps, and access to safe trails through the picturesque Warrandyte State Park.

The team at Tandivale are passionate horse-lovers who take pleasure in sharing their knowledge and love of horses with their students. With various relevant equine and teaching/coaching qualifications, the experienced and empathetic instructors at Tandivale have years of practise providing private tuition and instruction in Pony Club, Adult Riding Clubs, and riding school environments.

The instructors at Tandivale are not just educators, but also active riders themselves. Many of them compete successfully in dressage, showjumping, eventing, and showing classes, often on horses bred and trained at the centre. In fact, the head instructor is a registered Trainer with Racing Victoria and regularly has racehorses in training.

Safety is a priority at Tandivale, and all instructors hold First Aid and Working with Children qualifications. Additionally, Tandivale is a member of Equestrian Australia (EA) and the Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria (HRCAV).

Tandivale offers a range of services to cater to different needs and interests. They provide group horse riding lessons for juniors and adults, catering to true beginners and more advanced riders. Private horse riding lessons for adults are also available during the week.

For those looking for a fun and educational experience during school holidays, Tandivale offers holiday riding programmes and camps. Suitable for children aged 5 and up, with or without riding experience, these programmes provide an opportunity to learn and have fun with horses. Overnight camps are also available for children aged 8 to 13.

Tandivale also offers hands-on, non-riding programmes focused on horsemanship and equine learning. These programmes cover everything needed to get started with horses, whether the goal is to spend time with them or pursue riding or horse ownership in the future. Customised equine learning programmes are available to provide tailored education to suit individual needs.

In addition to education and programmes, Tandivale offers birthday parties for children who want to celebrate their special day in a unique and memorable way. No previous riding experience is required, making it an enjoyable experience for all.
