Did you enjoy watching the Olympic Games. Have you dreamed of going to an Olympic Games but not sure how you'd get there. Why not try Canoe Sprint. At the 2012 Olympic Games 9 of the 13 athletes were identified through talent identification programmes.

Did you see the men's K4 win the Olympic Gold and admire their teamwork, timing, and joy of winning.

Australian Canoeing and Sydney Northern Beaches Kayak Club are looking for the next group of talented young athletes who could go on to represent Australia at Junior World Championships and then at the senior level culminating in the Olympic Games in 2020 and beyond. We are looking for young aspiring athletes who are aerobically fit, have good upper body strength , long arms,and don't mind an intensive training programme. Athletes with a background in swimming, surf lifesaving, gymnastics, and netball have all made the switch and been very successful. Join the top Talent Identification Programme in Australia.

Following the testing successful applicants will be offered a 3 month trial . You will be required to attend 4 sessions a week during this time.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to try a new sport and achieve success in a relatively short time. Athletes can commence making junior international teams from age 15.

In 2015 year 2 athletes represented Australia at the Junior World Championships and 5 athletes represented Australia at the Olympic Hopefuls regatta in Poland.
