Welcome to the Jun Fan Gung Fu Academy Sydney, situated in Lidcombe, New South Wales, Australia. Led by Sifu Leong Lim, the academy is dedicated to teaching the art of Bruce Lees Seattle-era Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do.
The Sydney Branch is a private, not-for-profit martial arts school that operates with the same principles as its parent Seattle school. Sifu Leong is the only instructor in Australia with a direct lineage to Bruce Lee, being certified by Taky Kimura, Lees best friend and highest-ranked instructor.
Group classes are conducted twice a week in Lidcombe, providing students with the opportunity to learn and practise martial arts in a supportive and disciplined environment. The instruction page on our website contains all the necessary information regarding class timings and registration.
Sifu Leong feels honoured and privileged to share and preserve the art, teachings, and legacy of Sijo Bruce and Sigung Taky from the Seattle-era. He aims to introduce these teachings to Australia for the very first time, offering students the chance to train in the authentic Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do styles.
