Surya Health Yoga is a sports club located in Perth, Australia, offering a comprehensive range of mind-body wellness services. The club's founder, Chandrika Satyam Brown, is an experienced counsellor and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. With a background in cancer and palliative care counselling, as well as providing support to individuals with disabilities and at-risk youth, Chandrika has extensive experience in supporting individuals in various life situations. Informed by two decades of practising meditation and yoga, Chandrika is trained in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and other behavioural therapies. They hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Masters in Counselling, and are an educator for Edith Cowan University's Masters in Counselling programme.
Chandrika's counselling services are available both online via Zoom or in person in Banksia Grove, WA. Sessions are priced at $160, payable privately, or with a referral from a GP in order to access Medicare rebates. With a referral, clients can receive a $79. 05 rebate from Medicare for each session, up to a total of 10 sessions per calendar year.

These consultations provide a personalised approach to yoga, taking into consideration an individual's strengths, challenges, and wellness goals. Chandrika, a certified therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT) and a registered Yoga Therapist with Yoga Australia, designs yoga therapy plans tailored to suit each person's lifestyle.
