For juniors, coaching sessions are available Monday to Friday after school hours. Dylan Edgley, as a long-term member of South Hawthorn Tennis Club, is deeply committed to both the sport and teaching. Having previously played junior tennis for the club and being a past club champion in both singles and doubles, Dylan brings passion, dedication, and innovation to the coaching role. He constantly seeks to improve his programmes by staying up-to-date with new coaching methods and collaborating with other professionals in the field.
Sue Davey, holding the title of Tennis Australia Club Professional, has an impressive educational background in addition to her coaching experience. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Diploma of Tennis Coaching, Club professional level, Sue brings a comprehensive approach to her lessons. She has also worked as a Training and Fitness consultant for athletes of all levels and has vast experience in designing and implementing preparation for tennis programmes.
Sue offers group and private lessons on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and can also arrange private coaching sessions Monday to Friday mornings. Adult groups are available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. Her after-school lessons have a duration of 45 minutes and are limited to a maximum of four players per group. Private groups or individual lessons can also be arranged.
Additionally, Dylan runs Cardio Tennis programmes at South Hawthorn Tennis Club, providing a fun way for players to improve their tennis skills while getting a workout at the same time.
