Steve Foreman started surfing in 1965 at age 10 on the NSW South coast.
His first board was a 70s classic – a Gordon Woods four metre three-stringer so heavy he could hardly carry it.
Today Steve employs his experience and patience teaching beginners through to tour professionals, and is regional coaching director for Surfing Far North Coast.
He started coaching in 1987 and at least one of his charges has ranked among the world’s top five professional surfers.
