These classes focus on achieving goals such as submersion and flotation, developing propulsion and gliding techniques, perfecting kicking styles and beginner freestyle arms, and gaining competency in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. The Mini Squad class is designed to prepare swimmers for swimming in a 50-metre pool, with a focus on strong strokes, faster pace, and endurance.
In addition to group lessons, the Brunswick Swim School also offers private lessons for children who may need extra support and attention in the water. These 30-minute one-on-one lessons are valuable for building confidence and achieving swimming skills.
The swim school operates on a term basis, aligning their lessons with school terms to provide breaks for the kids and parents. If a child misses a class, make-up lessons are available, with two make-up lessons per child per term, as long as arrangements are made in advance.
