St Kevin's College, Melbourne, is a Catholic primary and secondary boys school that upholds the tradition of Edmund Rice. With a strong academic focus and a commitment to nurturing the potential of each student, St Kevin's is dedicated to creating a learning environment that values knowledge and scholarship.
Inspired by the contemplative spirit of St Kevin and Glendalough, and Christ's transformative vision of humanity, St Kevin's aims to be a welcoming and hospitable community that exemplifies Gospel values. The college has a rich history, with the Christian Brothers founding it in 1918 with the goal of establishing a tradition of high academic standards. It quickly became the Matriculation centre for all the Brothers' schools in Melbourne, further solidifying the institution's reputation for academic excellence.
In 1932, due to its burgeoning enrolment, St Kevin's relocated from its original premises in East Melbourne to Toorak. Here, it grew to encompass a full primary and secondary school, providing a comprehensive education for the students. Today, St Kevin's College continues to prioritise excellence in learning as a means to facilitate human growth and liberation. It recognises the importance of family life in nurturing the whole person and strives for all students to achieve a fullness of life.
St Kevin's College has multiple locations, including Heyington, Waterford, Glendalough, Tooronga Sports Fields, and St Peter's Early Learning Centre. Each campus offers unique facilities and opportunities for students to learn and grow.
