About

South Eastern Eagles is a well-established sports club located in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1965, the club has a rich history and is deeply rooted in the local community. Committed to giving back and providing a great experience for its members, South Eastern Eagles is known for its low costs and high-quality coaching.

The club operates on a volunteer basis, with everything they centred around their players. They welcome both individual players and full teams who wish to play alongside their friends without being graded. South Eastern Eagles keeps its members informed through their active Facebook page, where they regularly share live updates on games, wet weather updates, and other important information about the current season.

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the club prioritises the safety of its members and ensures that all necessary precautions are taken to create a safe environment. South Eastern Eagles offers various club merchandise, including jumpers, shirts, and bottles, which can be purchased by contacting Rhiannon at 0419254214.

The club's officials include Leah Rae as the Club President, Rhiannon Hicks as the Club Secretary, and Helen Mulligan as the Club Treasurer. Dedicated and passionate, these individuals contribute to the smooth running of the club and provide leadership for its members.

For the 2023 Netball season, all players, whether returning or new, must register using the My Netball online registration system before the deadline of February 24th, 2023. The registration process involves selecting the appropriate membership category based on age, including Senior for those 18 years and over, Junior for ages 9 to 18, and Net Set Go for ages 7 to 9. Different age groups follow specific rules and competitions tailored to their skills and abilities.

Registration fees cover insurance costs, fees payable to Netball NSW and Randwick Netball Association, training court hire, first aid kits, training kits, balls, and payment to umpires. However, they do not include uniform costs for Junior and Senior teams. Conveniently, online payment via the My Netball registration system is the preferred payment method, although cash payments are not accepted.

The club will be transitioning to a new uniform over the next two years, featuring the A-Line dress with black bike shorts. This new uniform will be worn by NetSetGo players transitioning to the hard courts in the 2022 season. However, existing hard court players can continue wearing the original South Eastern dress. It's important to note that the entire team must be in the same dress, as the Randwick Netball Association does not permit mixed uniforms within the same team.

The uniform cost is $70, and players needing a new uniform should contact their team manager for assistance.

To register for the Net Set Go programme, interested participants can visit the provided link on the PlayHQ website. For junior registration, a separate link is available on the same website. Those interested in entering a senior team can contact Rhiannon at 0419254214 for further information.

South Eastern Eagles also emphasises that all registrations must be completed online through the PlayHQ registration system, and no registrations will be accepted or processed outside this portal. In case of limited computer access, alternative arrangements can be made by contacting the club.

Join South Eastern Eagles and be a part of their longstanding legacy in the Sydney sports community. Experience high-quality coaching, a vibrant club atmosphere, and a commitment to giving back to the local community. Contact the club to register as a player or volunteer, and get ready for an exciting netball season.
