The South Dubbo Raiders has a proud tradition that dates back to 1967 and was known as the South Dubbo Tigers. This proud tradition has continued in recent seasons with the whole club contributing to the success of club championship wins in seasons 2002, 2003, 2007 and more recently 2008.
We would like to acknowledge & thank local Indigenous artist, Allan Shillingsworth for designing our new 2013 guernseys and polo shirts. This design will be used for the next 3 years.
The club is built on a foundation of strong administration that sets an example in the fields of conduct, discipline, dedication and a strong work ethic. With the kids following the example set by the administration, this has seen the most important part of the club and football come to the fore, that being of having fun.
We believe that by playing football for the right reasons, for the love and fun of it, then the natural by-product of this will be success.
We wish to offer the best of opportunities to all kids wanting to play football and therefore have acquired what we believe to be a great group of coach's whose first interest is always that of the children.
Furthermore, we welcome all who wish to be a part of our club. Training is each Tuesday & Thursday from 4. 30pm at Apex Oval. We have teams in every age group from the under 6's to the under 16's.
