Showbiz Express Circus & Dance

Showbiz Express Circus and Dance was founded by the principal Jo DeGoldi in 1996 with only 7 students at that time. For the next 3 years while Jo was still performing, studio classes, held at Helensvale State High School were only a 2 day a week event... with the numbers building slowly. By 2000 however, the number of students wishing to learn dance and circus skills increased quite a lot, so Jo had to decide whether to keep performing or to ‘go for it’.
