At the helm of Bergman's Swim School is Paul Bergman, the Director and a highly experienced individual in the world of swimming and rugby league. Paul, a former competitive swimmer and professional rugby league player, made a seamless transition into coaching at the age of 26 due to an injury. He has since dedicated over 20 years to a successful coaching career. Paul holds a Diploma of Swim Teaching and is an Accredited High-Performance coach.
His coaching expertise extends to prestigious institutions such as Miami Olympic Pool, St Hilda's School, and Gulliver's. Furthermore, Paul has received two Prime Ministerial coaching scholarships, which have significantly shaped his coaching philosophies and understanding of athlete development. He has also had the opportunity to work alongside renowned coaches and serve as an assistant coach to master coach Wayne Bennett during a tour of Great Britain. With years of international experience and specialised qualifications, Paul ensures that your children receive professional and expert guidance.
Bergman's Swim School boasts a team of highly qualified and dedicated swimming instructors who are all Austswim Qualified. All instructors have a genuine passion for working with children and this is evident in their caring and helpful nature towards each individual. They strive to create a positive and supportive environment for all swimmers.
When it comes to enrolling in classes, Bergman's Swim School operates on a monthly basis. A booking secures a continuous position in a class for one month, and the booking automatically rolls over to the next month. Payment for the entire month is required to secure the booking. In addition, the school offers the option of setting up a weekly direct debit account for those who find a monthly payment option inconvenient.
If you decide not to continue with your enrolment, a 7-day notice is required in order to cancel your booking and prevent automatic rollover. Failure to notify the school of cancellation may result in a liability to pay for the weeks you were not attending. Cancellation of a direct debit account also requires a 7-day notice.
Bergman's Swim School places a high value on makeup lessons, which are offered to students who are unable to attend their regularly booked lesson for any reason. It is important to notify the school of your child's absence prior to the lesson commencing in order to qualify for a makeup lesson. Not only does this entitle you to a free makeup, but it also allows another child to utilise your vacancy in the class for a makeup lesson. These makeup lessons are based on goodwill and strive to accommodate for unforeseen circumstances.
