Sawtell Surf Life Saving Club (SSLSC) is a vibrant and active sports club located in Sawtell, a beautiful village on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, just 10 km south of Coffs Harbour. With Sawtell beach stretching for 2. 1 kilometres along the stunning coastline, the club plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of both locals and visitors to the area.
Established in 1932, SSLSC has grown steadily over the years and now boasts a membership of 159 Patrolling Members and 140 Nippers, as well as a number of Life Members, Long Service Members, and Associate Members. The club is deeply connected to the community, providing surf-related activities for individuals of all ages.
As an important hub in the area, Sawtell Surf Life Saving Club not only keeps the beachgoers safe but also offers a range of education and training programmes. From lifesaving patrols and competitions to nippers programmes and surf sports, there are plenty of opportunities for members to develop their skills and enjoy the beach culture.
