The attention should be focused above the head, with thoughts being allowed to pass without following them. In case thoughts persist, individuals can gently say within themselves, “Not this thought” or “I forgive myself, I forgive everyone. ” As peace is achieved, individuals may be able to feel a gentle cool breeze on their hands or gently blowing upward above their heads. When this sensation is experienced, the attention should be gently kept there.

Resting both hands on the lap, palms up, individuals can relax and enjoy the peace and silence within.
