Important day of remembrance and reflection. It is a time to honour the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces. ANZAC Day ceremonies and events are held across the country, with the dawn service being particularly significant. It is a tradition to lay wreaths, observe a minute of silence, and participate in marches and parades to pay tribute to the Anzacs and all those who have fought for our freedom.
At Rosebud Netball Club, we are proud to commemorate ANZAC Day and uphold the values it represents. Our club is deeply connected to our local community, and we believe it is significant to honour and support those who have served our country. Through our involvement in ANZAC Day events, we aim to foster a sense of unity and gratitude within our club.

Where Are We?
Our home base is the Olympic Park Recreation Reserve, located at 193 Eastbourne Road in Rosebud. To reach the reserve, you can turn right at the Jetty Road roundabout exit of the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, travel north through the second roundabout, and then turn left onto Eastbourne Road at the third roundabout. The entry to the ground is approximately 1. 1 kilometres down Eastbourne Road on the left-hand side, opposite First Avenue.
We have a dedicated committee who work tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the club. The committee members include President Brett McRae, Vice President/Football Manager Jack Sakalis, Treasurer Debbie Fisher, Secretary & Registrar Gabi Fisher, and Netball Manager Wendy Stoffels. We also have several general committee members who provide valuable support and guidance.
ANZAC Day holds significant meaning for Australians. It is a day to remember and honour the bravery and sacrifices of the Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. The ANZAC name symbolises the pride and camaraderie of these soldiers, and their legacy lives on to this day.
At Rosebud Netball Club, we recognise the importance of ANZAC Day and participate in commemorations and events to pay our respects to the fallen and show our gratitude to those who have served. It is a time for reflection, unity, and remembrance within our club and community.
In conclusion, Rosebud Netball Club is a proud and passionate sports club in Melbourne.
