Welcome to Pollet's Martial Arts Centre – Orange, a leading sports club located in Orange City Council. Our centre offers a wide range of programmes and instruction in various martial arts styles including Traditional Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Muay Thai, Kempo Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Self Defence, MMA, Cage Fighting, and Physical Fitness.
At Pollet's Martial Arts Centre, we believe that martial arts is not just a one-time activity, but a way of life. We are committed to providing a lifelong journey of learning and self-improvement. Our founder, Hanshi Pollet, has dedicated his life to martial arts and considers it a lifetime study.
Our centre offers programmes for people of all ages and skill levels. We have a special programme called Pollet's Little Tigers, designed for children aged 2 and above. These classes run five days a week from Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. We also have programmes available for school children, government departments, adults, and families.
With 8 full-time locations across the region, we strive to make martial arts accessible to everyone. Our Orange centre is conveniently located at Shop 23, Orange Arcade, 142 Summer Street. In addition to Orange, we have centres in Adamstown, Bathurst, Castle Hill, Edgeworth, Forbes, Medowie, Mount Druitt, Penrith, and Valentine.
At Pollet's Martial Arts Centre, we offer a range of martial arts styles to suit different interests and goals. Our Karate classes are rooted in the traditional art developed in Okinawa, Japan. We emphasise self-development and teach not only striking techniques but also grappling, locks, restraints, throws, and vital point strikes.
For those interested in traditional weaponry, we offer Okinawan Kobudo classes. Kobudo involves the use of various weapons such as the Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, and Kama. These classes provide a unique and enriching experience for martial arts enthusiasts.
If you're looking to train in Muay Thai, we have a syllabus developed by Grand Master Toddy, who has produced over 40 World Champions. Our Muay Thai classes are designed to teach the authentic techniques and training methods of this powerful martial art.
For those interested in Boxing, we offer classes focusing on using fists for striking. Whether you aspire to become a champion boxer or simply want to get fit, our boxing classes will help you achieve your goals.
