The Palmwoods Junior Rugby League Club started about ten years ago & with every club we have had our ups & downs but every member who has been with our Palmwoods Family all had the same aim of getting our boys & girls on the field playing the greatest game of all.
Our first ever game up at Noosa we started the year with only ten players in the whole club but year in & year out we steadily grew to todays figures with a projection in 2009 of 200 players taken in consideration our U/18s & Senior( which will be called C Grade next year) & with our population growth around the Chancellor Park area, & Mooloolah & Palmwoods area we can only grow every year from now on.
Our colours are Red White & Black I believe are the best Jersys on the coast & our Red Devil Logo is unique around Queensland & Australia.
In our ten short years we have played in four grand finals won two & just pipped in the other two.
We have had scores of players representing the coast, & this season five best & fairest players for the coast this year.
Our past history is also grand with three former players making the team of the Century on the Sunshine Coast & one of our former players making the team of the Century for Australia. Our Club is steeped in History & any future players can play with us with the knowledge of the fact you can make rep. Football from a small club steeped in family tradition like ours .
Our facilities are getting better every year & with a bit of work should be able to rival most clubs on the coast.
