Old Brighton Grammarians Football Club (OBGFC) is a sports club located in Melbourne, Australia. With a rich history spanning over 60 years, OBGFC is dedicated to improving both on and off the field. OBGFC's home ground is Brighton Beach Oval, located at 2 Mair Street, Brighton. Please note that there is no parking available for visitors within the grounds of the oval. However, there is ample parking in South Road, Beach Road, and surrounding streets for visiting clubs and spectators.
The club has a proud tradition of singing its club song, which reflects the passion and loyalty of its members. The lyrics of the club song celebrate the team's emblem, the red and blue colours, and the love the supporters have for their team.
OBGFC also has a comprehensive club history book titled “OBGFC: A Tribute. ” Edited and compiled by club stalwart Bob McLellan, this book contains contributions from over 20 writers and offers a detailed account of the club's journey. The book is available for purchase in hard copy for a nominal fee of $50.
