Northern Saints Rugby

Established in April 1957, the Northern Saints Rugby Club originated as the senior branch of the St Ives Rugby Union Football Club in Sydney's North Shore. At that time, St Ives was predominantly a rural community consisting of market gardens and orchards.

Today, the Northern Saints Rugby Club is thriving both on and off the field. They host several Community and Charity days, in addition to maintaining a strong Old Boys Association. The club is known for its competitive and free-flowing style of rugby.

Training sessions are held on Wednesday nights, and players can enjoy a barbecue and a refreshing beer afterwards at their clubhouse, which is widely regarded as the best in Suburban Rugby.

For the upcoming 2023 season, the Northern Saints Rugby Club is seeking new players to join their ranks. They offer opportunities to play in both 1st Grade and 2nd Grade in the 4th Division of Subbies. New players will receive a set of shorts, socks, and a training shirt upon registration.
