The history of Northcote Taekwondo dates back to the early 1970s when Grandmaster Young Youl Oh, a highly accomplished practitioner and instructor from Korea, established Oh's Taekwondo Centre in Collingwood. Over the years, the club has experienced various location changes, but it has remained dedicated to providing exceptional training under the leadership of Grandmaster Oh, who currently holds a prestigious 9th Dan black belt. The Northcote High School branch was opened in 2004, and the club then adopted the name PACE Taekwondo.
