Mudgeeraba Hockey Club is a vibrant and inclusive sports club located in Gold Coast, Australia. The club is proud to offer a Joeys programme on Saturday mornings, allowing our youngest players to experience and try out the sport in a supportive and friendly environment. We believe in nurturing a love for hockey from an early age, and our Joeys programme is a fantastic introduction for kids to learn the basics and develop their skills.
Mudgeeraba Hockey Club also aims to provide a fun and social experience for its members. The Gold Coast Hockey season runs from March to September, and training takes place at the Gold Coast Hockey Centre on Musgrave Avenue in Labrador. Senior training sessions are held on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, while junior training sessions take place from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on the same day. These sessions provide players with the opportunity to develop their skills, improve fitness, and bond with their teammates.
In addition to the regular training sessions, the club also competes in matches throughout the season. The game times can be found on the Gold Coast Hockey Association website. To support our players, the club offers a range of club uniforms and merchandise. To participate in the 2023 season, players must register online. The registration process requires an initial fee payment before completing the registration. This fee covers the minimum requirements set by Hockey Queensland and Hockey Australia, ensuring every player is properly registered. Payments can be made online using Visa or MasterCard (Debit and Credit) only.
Mudgeeraba Hockey Club values fair play and encourages all eligible parents to learn more about the QLD Government's Fair Play Vouchers. These vouchers can provide funding of up to $150, allowing more children to participate in sports and activities.
