Mornington Peninsula Athletic Club

Mornington Peninsula Athletic Club, located in Melbourne, is a sports club that provides athletic participation, competition, coaching, and training to the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding communities. Originally established in 1975 as Peninsula Road Runners, the club changed its name to Mornington Peninsula Athletic Club in 2006 to reflect its diverse range of athletic activities beyond distance running.

Sue Clark also represented Australia in the International Mountain Running Championship. The club's commitment to supporting athletes at all levels is evident in its organisation of the Devilbend Half Marathon, 12 km/7 km Fun Runs, and Kids Mile, which offer challenges for community runners.

The club participates in the Winter XCR Series, which encompasses cross country and road running, where members compete for points in age group teams against other clubs. The Summer Track and Field Interclub Season, named “AVSL” (Athletics Victoria Shield League), is another popular competition where the club competes for points against other clubs in various age group teams. Additionally, the club's athletes also have the opportunity to participate in the State Youth and Open Track and Field Championships.
