Mollymook Longboarders Inc

Mollymook Longboarders Inc is a vibrant sports club located in the beautiful Shoalhaven City Council area of New South Wales, Australia. The club is dedicated to the sport of longboarding and promotes a strong sense of community among its members.

One of the most anticipated events organised by the club is the Annual Charity Classic. Held on the second weekend in August, this event attracts both local and visiting longboard enthusiasts who are eager to catch some awesome waves, compete in friendly competitions, and enjoy the social vibes. What sets the Charity Classic apart is its commitment to giving back to the local community, as funds raised through the event are donated to various community groups and charities. Each year, students from Ulladulla High School have the opportunity to design the event's logo, which is featured on t-shirts, the Mark Rabbidge shaped Raffle longboard, and other merchandise.

The club also holds regular meetings, with the next one scheduled for the 16th of September 2023. During these meetings, members gather for the Monthly competition, which typically starts at 6:30 am (except for May, June, July, and August, when it starts at 7:30 am) at the Golf Course Reef. In the event that surf conditions are unfavourable, the club will notify members of a new location through their official Mollymook Longboarders Facebook page.

Mollymook Longboarders is known for being a family-friendly club that warmly welcomes new members and visitors. To maintain consistency and encourage longboarding authenticity, surfboards used must be at least 9ft in length (for women and groms, 8ft or longer). Traditional longboard shapes are also required. However, for those who do not have their own board, the club offers the convenience of borrowing one.

Foamies, provided by Southern Man Ulladulla, are available for use, and generous club members are often willing to share their personal boards as well.
