MAENG HO TAEKWONDO ACADEMY is one of the first established Taekwondo academies in Eastern Melbourne. It was founded by Grandmaster Sung Bok Joo over 40 years ago who is one of the original Taekwondo masters from South Korea.
We practise traditional Taekwondo, not just kicking. This includes boxing, kickboxing, grappling, weapons defence, forms, and theory. Our training is highly disciplined producing fit students with confidence and good character. The tenets of Taekwondo (courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit) are exemplified in our best students.
Our affiliation is with Kukkiwon and belong to the World Taekwondo.
