If you want to learn to play tennis in the Campbeltown or Camden Regions or continue to improve your tennis game, Macarthur Tennis Academy provides a range of tennis programmes to meet the needs for all students. Whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced level player, child, or adult we offer private lessons, group lessons, family or shared lessons, and school holiday programmes at Glen Alpine and Currans Hill Tennis Courts.

Head Coach Michael Mackney is a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach with over 26 years coaching experience in the Macarthur Region. In 2000, Michael commenced his own Tennis Academy, Macarthur Tennis Academy coaching at Glen Alpine and Currans Hill Tennis Courts.

Michael has had extensive experience as a tennis player, and I was a top ranked junior player. Michael was a Southern Districts Open Men’s Finalist in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles Winner and was an A1 player for many years and played 1. 1 Badge for 4 years representative for Sydney University.

Macarthur Tennis Academy provides professional coaching for all levels of students from beginners to advance players and of all ages. Macarthur Tennis Academy has tennis lessons to everyone tennis coaching needs and budget, offering private lessons, share, or family lessons and group lessons.

Macarthur Tennis Academy offers the MLC’s Hot Shots Programme using modified equipment; this allows young children to experience the joy of tennis. Squads for beginners and advanced players and School Holiday Coaching Clinics and adult coaching and ladies group classes for players that want to work on particular aspects of their game.

Michael’s aim is to get everyone into tennis from all walks of life and to bring people back to tennis that have previously played tennis in the past and introduce children and adults to the love of the game of tennis.
