The MLC Gymnastics Club is an important part of Methodist Ladies’ College in Kew, Melbourne. The Club is affiliated with Gymnastics Victoria and offers Women’s Artistic Gymnastics to girls aged five and above. All members are registered with Gymnastics Australia. MLC's training venue is exceptional, offering the latest in safety and high-tech equipment combined with a very high level of expert coaching.
The Gymnastics Programme operates six days a week. It offers classes to both MLC and non MLC students (external) with over 700 members. The Club caters for Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Dance, Kinder Gym and Cheerleading. The WAG programme caters for gymnasts from school-age beginners in the introductory recreational programme, up to the international development level gymnasts.
The Kinder Gym programme caters for both boys and girls aged 2 1/2 to 5 years. A strong developmental programme has been established for all recreational and junior competitive squads. MLC also caters for gymnasts competing in the National Stream Level 1-10 Programme. Fees are subsidised for MLC students.
