Lynbrook Stingers Netball Club is a family-oriented sports club based in Melbourne. Established in March 2008, the club aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for members of the community to participate in netball and build strong connexions with other families.
The club is dedicated to offering a supportive team environment where players of all ages and abilities can thrive. They have both junior and senior teams that compete in various leagues and divisions. Junior teams play on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, while senior teams participate in Monday Night Ladies, Wednesday Night Mixed, and Sunday Night Mixed competitions.
The club's home games and training sessions take place at different venues in Melbourne. Games are held at Casey Indoor Stadium in Cranbourne East and Olive Road Sporting Complex in Doveton. Junior teams have training sessions on Thursday evenings at Cranbourne Secondary College.
Wearing the club uniform is mandatory for all playing members on game days. The uniform requirements vary based on age and gender. Junior girls wear bodysuits, junior boys wear polo shirts and black shorts, senior ladies wear bodysuits or skirts with polo shirts, and senior men wear polo shirts with black shorts. Optional club hoodies are also available for purchase.
All fixtures and ladders can be found on the Casey Netball Association website. The website provides information on game schedules and allows users to check the standings in different divisions. Additionally, mobile users can download the MyNetball App to access fixtures and results and track their team's performance throughout the season.
The Lynbrook Stingers Netball Club is governed by a committee of dedicated individuals who contribute their time and effort to ensure the smooth operation of the club.
