, David's father, who started his training career in 1947 in Adelaide. After a trip to the UK, Colin was inspired by the idea of training horses in a country environment. In 1965, he established Lindsay Park Racing Stable and Stud amidst the breathtaking surroundings of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. This visionary move allowed Colin to create a world-class training complex away from the traditional city track, drawing praise from industry experts worldwide.
With a career spanning 43 years, Colin trained an astonishing 5,333 winners, including multiple Melbourne Cups, Cox Plates, and Blue Diamonds.
