Welcome to Lawnton Aquatic Centre, one of the largest swim schools and squad programmes on Brisbane's northside. We cater to not only the local suburbs of Lawnton, Petrie, Kallangur, Joyner, Cashmere, and Strathpine, but also the wider Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) area, including Murrumba Downs, Dayboro, Albany Creek, and Aspley. Our central location makes us easily accessible to the entire community.
Our state-of-the-art facilities boast a 50m lap swimming pool, a 25m indoor swimming pool, a toddler splash pool, and a play area. We understand the importance of accessibility, which is why each pool is equipped with hoist chairs for those with mobility needs.
Lawnton Aquatic Centre offers a range of incredible programmes tailored to all age groups and fitness levels. Our Learn to Swim swimming lessons are designed to teach water safety and stroke development to all ages, including adults. We also offer aqua aerobics classes for those looking for a low-impact, high-energy workout. For those interested in a more challenging swim, our SwimFit programme is perfect for enhancing fitness and improving technique.
In partnership with Genesis Fitness Lawnton lifestyle gym, we provide a unique hub of activity for the entire community. Our aim is to offer you the best health and leisure experience possible.
We are open seven days a week, with early morning and late evening hours to accommodate busy schedules. Our opening hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday 5:30am – 7:00pm, Friday 5:30am – 6:00pm, Saturday 5:30am – 5:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
