Koondrook Barham Football Netball Club

Welcome to the Koondrook Barham Football Netball Club, a vibrant sports club located in The Council of the Shire of Wakool. Our club was founded in 1996 through the merger of two historical teams, the Koondrook Tigers and the Barham Magpies. This merger brought together the twin towns of Koondrook in Victoria and Barham in New South Wales, breaking down state borders and uniting a community.

Initially entering the Northern & Echuca Football League, our club made the decision to join the Mid-Murray Football League at the end of our first season due to the league's winding up. With the participation of Koondrook Barham and our old rivals, Leitchville-Gunbower, Cohuna, and Kerang, the league was renamed the Central Murray Football League to reflect the wider region it now encompassed.

Since the merger, our club has experienced success both on the football field and the netball court. The River Raiders have secured four football leadingships, with titles in Under 11's, Reserve Grade in 2008, and Colts in 2011 and 2012. While our Seniors team has made several finals appearances, they are yet to win the ultimate prize. Our netball programme has also flourished, earning two netball flags, a testament to the dedication and talent of our netballers.

We take great pride in the achievements of our players, with multiple League Best & Fairest winners across all grades. We have also had leading goal kickers in the Seniors, Reserves, and Colts teams. Our team colours have evolved over the years, starting with black, yellow, and white hoops formed from the original Koondrook and Barham jumpers. Currently, we proudly sport red, blue, and gold hoops representing the Adelaide Crows.

On game days, our club fields six football teams, including four juniors and two open age teams. In addition, we have six netball sides competing. All our home games are held at the Barham Recreation Reserve, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for players, supporters, and visitors alike. We are dedicated to fostering a family-oriented club and have a large supporter base.
