For infants aged 6 months to 3 years, Kiddieswim offers age-specific Parent & Child classes. This comprehensive infant aquatic programme not only develops babies' comfort and skills in the water but also equips parents with the techniques to correctly hold and initiate their children's swims. Through body position exercises, basic motor skills, submersion, and floating techniques, young swimmers become mobile in the water, all while bonding with their parents in a safe and comfortable environment.
The learn-to-swim programme at Kiddieswim is designed to help beginner swimmers become competent in the water in a fast and effective manner. With gradual skill progressions and level-specific content, children from 3 years of age are given the opportunity to extend themselves to a higher standard. The programme is facilitated by Austswim qualified and experienced teachers who provide constant feedback and encouragement.
Kiddieswim is also home to the Peninsula Hurricanes Swimming Club, catering to advanced swimmers who display competency in all strokes and have a desire to compete in swimming. The club offers a structured progression for swimmers and a variety of training programmes, ranging from 3–8 sessions per week. For those aiming to excel at the state and national levels, the club also offers a dry-land stream to develop core & muscle strength, general fitness, and aerobic capacity.
