Jamestown Gymnastics is a sports club located in the Northern Areas Council of South Australia. Situated at the Jamestown Community School's stadium, the club offers gymnastics programmes for children aged 5 and up. The club's main focus is to provide children with upbeat, fun, and educational programmes that not only improve their gymnastics skills but also build their confidence in the sport.
The club runs sessions every Monday night during school terms 2 and 3, except school events and public holidays. The sessions are divided into two categories: Session 1 and Session 2. Session 1, which runs from 5pm to 6pm, is designed for beginners and intermediates. It caters to gymnasts who are just starting out or those who have some skills but need more time to improve their basics.
This session is capped at 25 athletes.
Session 2, which follows Session 1 from 6pm to 7pm, is aimed at improving and advanced gymnasts. It is designed for gymnasts who have a grasp of the basics and are ready to progress to higher standards. Based on age or ability, all gymnasts will be placed into a category at the discretion of the coaches.
