It is nestled in the beautiful Jamberoo Valley, surrounded by the lush, green landscape and embraced by Hyams Creek and the Minnamurra River. The course is home to a diverse range of wildlife, with 96 native bird species identified on the course and friendly Eastern Water Dragons often spotted. The history of Jamberoo Golf Club dates back to the mid-1970s when a group of Jamberoo locals formed the Jamberoo Social Golf Club. After a few years of playing social golf at different courses, the group decided to establish their own golf club. In 1977, Kiama Council purchased a farm near the Minnamurra River, and the Jamberoo Social Golf Club requested consideration for the construction of a nine-hole golf course on the land. This led to negotiations and discussions between the club and the council, culminating in the establishment of Jamberoo Golf Club in the late 1970s.
