The Hub Gymnastics Club is a community-based sports club located at The Paul Murray Recreation Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Established in 1985, the club has been providing quality gymnastics programmes for over 35 years. The Hub Gymnastics Club prides itself on promoting participation, safety, learning, and fun for all its members.
The club offers a range of programmes catering to different age groups and skill levels. Their KinderGym programme is a play-based programme designed for young children to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively in a tailored environment. MiniGym is a structured programme that teaches gymnastic skills and fun activities. These programmes are available on Mondays and Tuesdays, and registration can be completed through their JotForm.
For children aged 4. 5 to 14 years old, the club offers Recreational Gymnastics and MiniAero. These programmes provide the basics of gymnastics in a non-competitive atmosphere and focus on fun and fitness. Gymnastics not only improves strength, flexibility, balance, and posture but also enhances concentration and stamina.
To join these programmes, interested individuals can join the waiting list through the club's JotForm.
The Hub Gymnastics Club also has competition squads for Acro Aerobics, Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), and Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG). These squads follow the progressive pathway of the Australian National Levels programme, and participants are encouraged to be the best they can be. The club aims to nurture their gymnasts' talent and support them in their competitive journeys.
The club is situated at The Paul Murray Recreation Centre on Candy Road, Happy Valley. Enquiries can be made through email or phone, and the office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Originally established at the Aberfoyle Park Recreation Centre, the club has gone through various changes in management and location. Currently, they operate as a self-incorporated not-for-profit organisation.
The Hub Gymnastics Club is committed to growing, learning, and developing its gymnasts. With a focus on providing quality gymnastics programmes in a safe and fun environment, the club continues to make a positive impact on the Adelaide gymnastics community.
