Our CrossFit Kids and Teens programs are designed to empower kids and teens with healthy fitness habits whilst having fun, burning energy, and learning physical skills and functional movements. The skills and principles taught increase proprioceptive abilities, spatial and postural awareness, and metabolic conditioning, and are ideal for kids and teens looking to improve their general physical well being, as well as those looking to gain an edge in their chosen sport.
By teaching the skills and principles of movement in a team environment, we help kids and teenagers become physically and mentally robust, and also establish the life skills needed for the rigours of childhood and teen life.
CrossFit Kids – designed for kids between 8-12 year olds, the CrossFit Kids program incorporates games, gymnastics and metabolic conditioning exercises.
CrossFit Teens – Designed for teenagers between 12-17 years of age, or for kids who have solid functional movement foundations and a healthy attitude for learning, CrossFit Teens incorporates gymnastics, weightlifting (scaled accordingly) and metabolic conditioning, and focuses on 3 fundamental aspects of functional movement – biomechanics, consistency in execution, and intensity.
Your child is welcome to do a free trial class before signing up for the term. They are also welcome to bring a friend, but all participants must have an intake form completed by their parent or guardian prior to attending their first class.
