The Parramatta Catholic Convents Rugby League Association Inc. was founded by the nuns of Granville, that is why the word Catholic Convents is associated and used by us today. In 2009 we celebrated our club's 50th anniversary.
The competition is run in conjuction with the Parramatta district and involves 10 clubs in total. St Patricks's Football Club and St Gertrudes of Smithfield were the first founding clubs to enter the competition which is being run for the enjoyment of our children today.
St Patricks's Catholic Convents name was changed in 1994 with the Department Of Fair Trading to St Patrick's Guildford Rugby League Football Club Inc so that the club can be run according to current rules and regulations.
The competition is open to boys and girls and the ages range from 4. 5 years, under 6's to 11 years old under 11's. The rules have been modified for the safety of the players and the enjoyment of the game.
