Nestled in the heart of leafy Concord, and surrounded by open parkland, playing fields and sporting venues including golf courses and tennis courts, Greenlees Park Bowling Club offers a unique opportunity for relaxation and enjoyment of the game of lawn bowls.
After a humble beginning in a tin shed, and subsequent devastating fire, a new brick veneer clubhouse was opened in September 1960 by W. S. Kay.
Ongoing upgrades and extensions kept the club abreast of the times until, in 2006, members voted to amalgamate with Briars Sports Club which injected capital and boosted membership, all of which resulted in the modern, comfortable and stylish premises members now enjoy.
