Welcome to Forest Hills Golf Club, one of the oldest clubs in the Victorian Golf League and situated at the picturesque Spring Park Golf Course in Dingley Village, Victoria, Australia. Established in 1937, Forest Hills Golf Club offers a welcoming and sociable environment for golf enthusiasts of all levels.
Membership at Forest Hills Golf Club is open to anyone interested in the sport. The club plays every Saturday, with tee times starting at 8:30 am. To ensure fairness and camaraderie, each member draws a number marble prior to starting their round. Membership categories include Ordinary Membership, Junior Membership, and Social Membership, with annual fees ranging from $40 to $80.
All categories of membership also require an insurance charge of $60 per annum, due on 1st July of each year.
The Club is led by a dedicated committee, including President Robert Stanley, Vice President Wally Radchenko, Captain John Baltrusaitis, Vice Captain Sectretary Corene Coby, Treasurer Peter Frost, Handicapper Peter Frost and John Buis, and Match Committee members Peter Frost, Robert Stanley, and John Baltrusaitis. Committee meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Club rules and by-laws can be downloaded from the website.
Forest Hills Golf Club also provides weekly results and a syllabus of upcoming events. The weekly results include grades, names, daily handicaps, and special achievements such as nearest the pin, birdie holes, and special results. The club also maintains an honour board that lists past presidents, secretaries, and captains, showcasing the rich history and legacy of the club.
