Fairfield Cricket Club was formed in the 1920s. Formerly the club was known as Fairfield Methodists and played in the now defunct Northcote and Preston Churches Cricket Association.
The club's original home ground was Hayes Park, Thornbury, before moving to Faifield Park in 1990.
Fairfield joined JIKA in season 1990/91.
We have excellent facilities both on and off the field at our home ground, Fairfield Park, located at Yarra Bend Road, Fairfield. We are in an extremely predominant position as our ground is used as a thoroughfare for the numerous people visiting the Fairfield Boat House, Fairfield Amphitheatre and the Yarra Bend Golf Course all year round.
The Fairfield Cricket Club has always been extremely successful both on and off the field and therefore are always on the lookout for any new players interested in joining the club.
