For those new to tennis, Essex Heights Tennis Club partners with Darren Bradley's Tennis Academy to provide coaching options. Members can choose from group lessons, private lessons, or intense squad training with Darren or one of his assistants. There are also various seasonal lesson types available to cater to different needs and preferences.
In terms of competition, Essex Heights Tennis Club offers a diverse range of options for both junior and senior players. Junior players can participate in the Junior Competition, where they compete as a team against players from all over the Waverley district. This is a great opportunity for young players to make new friends, stay active, and further develop their tennis skills. The Junior Competition is available on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Senior players, regardless of age, are invited to compete in the Senior Competition, which allows them to play against clubs from all around the district. The Senior Competition takes place on Saturday afternoons.
For those looking for a mix of competition and socialising, the Night Competition offers competitive and social tennis rolled into one. After the match, players can even enjoy a drink together. The Night Competition is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
Essex Heights Tennis Club is also seeking new senior players (65+) to join the Mid-Week Men's competition, which takes place on Wednesday mornings. This is a great opportunity for senior players to stay active and engage in friendly competition.
