The Racing Drivers' Association of WA was established in 1964 at the Wattle Grove Speedway. After spending 14 years there, the RDA purchased a 41-acre site in Bullsbrook, where they constructed a 510-metre long and 15-metre wide track. This track is now recognised as Allwest Plant Hire Ellenbrook Speedway. In 1975, the speedway held its inaugural meeting.
