Echuca-Moama Bushwalkers

Echuca-Moama Bushwalkers is a sports club located in Campaspe Shire, Australia. With a commitment to exploring and exercising in a green environment, the club provides a variety of walks to cater to all ages and abilities. These walks include day walks, overnight hikes, base camps, and accommodated hikes, with some extended walks scheduled throughout the year.

The club typically holds monthly meetings at the Echuca Back 9 Golf course meeting room on McKenzie Street in Echuca. Meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm, although it's advisable to confirm with committee members as dinner meetings are scheduled every third month. Newcomers are always welcome to attend meetings and come walking on a “try before you join” basis. There is a $5 visitor's fee per walk (under 18, $2 fee), which can be offset against joining fees.

Transportation to walk destinations is typically organised through car pooling, with fuel costs shared among participants. The club emphasises a sense of community and camaraderie, allowing members to explore areas of interest together and enjoy the benefits of exercising in nature.

The activities of Echuca-Moama Bushwalkers can be accessed through their activities calendar, which is available on their website. Walks are categorised according to grading, ranging from easy to medium, medium/hard, and medium/hard. Day walks involve carrying only a daypack, while base camps require carrying a daypack but returning each day to a campsite near the car. Overnight walks involve carrying a full pack with camping gear, food, and water for multiple days.
