With nearly 70 affiliated clubs located throughout the Eastern Suburbs, we offer a wide variety of tennis competitions for both seniors and juniors, involving over 4,000 players.
Our association is committed to promoting and developing the sport of tennis in the Eastern Region of Melbourne. We provide opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to participate in competitive tennis, as well as to improve their skills through coaching programmes.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ian Adderley, the founding President of the Donvale Tennis Club. Ian made significant contributions to our association and the broader tennis community. He was instrumental in establishing the thriving tennis club at Donvale and remained an active member of the GMC for many years. Ian's dedication to the sport and his advocacy for women's tennis will always be remembered.
In terms of administration, we have implemented By Law 6 – Emergencies, which outlines the rules and regulations for emergency players participating in teams. It highlights the approval process, eligibility criteria, and guidelines for emergencies playing in lower sections or grades.
