The Flaming Chalice tournament is one of the largest association-run tournaments in Queensland, attracting teams from various locations, including Townsville, Dalby, Sydney, and even international teams. With over 90 teams participating across 13 divisions, the Flaming Chalice tournament offers a thrilling and competitive experience for volleyball enthusiasts.

Membership and participation in Dragons Volleyball are accessible through trial sessions and registrations. Trials for PVL teams are typically held during February/March, before each season, and interested individuals can sign up to attend these sessions. If unable to attend trials, the club offers alternative plans for potential members. The club also encourages those interested in Metro League, a competitive level volleyball league, to get involved.
