Downey Park runs competitive fixtures on Saturdays late March – August. There is an Open competition for women; Junior competition for girls and boys turning 11 and girls turning 12 and 13 years; Cadet competition for girls 14 to 15 years, Intermediate 16 to 19 years. Girls and boys turning 8 years to 10 years have a modified programme.
