Doveton Tennis Club

Welcome to Doveton Tennis Club, the premier clay court facility located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. The club offers a range of tennis opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels, including junior and senior, mid-week ladies and mens, as well as social tennis.

Doveton Tennis Club is not only a place for members to play tennis, but it is also home to Waverley Tennis and hosts numerous tournaments and carnivals throughout the year. The club proudly hosts events such as Junior Pennant and district grand finals, which create a vibrant and exciting atmosphere. During these events, a full canteen and bar facilities are available for members and spectators to enjoy.

The club was established in 1972 and began with four clay courts and a new clubhouse. Over the years, the club expanded its facilities and now has a total of nine clay courts. The clubhouse has also been extended and refurbished, including the addition of a disability restroom, office/tournament box, and increased storage area.

In 2001, Doveton Tennis Club partnered with Waverley Tennis and formed the Robinson Reserve Tennis Centre. This partnership allowed for the continued operation of the club and provided a “home” for the association. The Tennis Centre is now known for hosting major tournaments organised by Waverley Tennis. Additionally, Doveton Tennis Club is proud to be represented by various teams in the Tennis Victoria Pennant competition and in Senior, Junior, and Midweek Men's sections of Waverley Tennis.

The Tennis Centre has a strong relationship with the City of Casey, ensuring that all court surfaces are well-maintained and are equipped with modern lighting. This allows for optimal playing conditions and extends the playing hours into the evening.
