Dive For Cancer

Dive For Cancer is a sports club based in Adelaide, South Australia that aims to raise funds for the Cancer Council Australia. Organised annually, Dive For Cancer is a day dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives to cancer and celebrating the lives that have been saved. The funds raised from this event go towards providing vital funding for research and clinical care at the Cancer Council Australia.

The funds raised enable Cancer Council clinicians and researchers to improve cancer detection through Scuba Diving events and find gentler and more personalised treatments and support for cancer patients.

Since its inception in 2014, Dive For Cancer has seen great success. In the Adelaide event of 2014, almost $9,850 was raised for the Cancer Council Australia. In 2015, the Dive Centre Manly's 'Dive For Cancer' Treasure Hunt in Sydney brought together over 60 divers and snorkelers, raising a total of $6,000.
