The environment and atmosphere is unique and very different to a commercial gym. We provide top level education in nutrition, mobility, and rehab exercises. We have chalk, we make noise, we know everyone by name, we sweat, we strain, we laugh and we train hard. It is a great place to be!
Put simply, CrossFit is a training programme that prepares you for whatever life can throw at you. Workouts are short and intense, and incorporate elements of olympic weighlifting, gymnastics, rowing, running, skipping, and bodyweight callisthenics.
CrossFit is designed to be universally scalable, allowing everyone to participate regardless of experience, age, skill, or fitness level. The programme works for elite athletes, professional fighters, recreational sportspeople, business professionals and housewives.
Fitness in 100 words.
Ëat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intakes to levels that support exercise but not body fat. Practise and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, Clean and Jerk, Snatch. Similarly master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouttes, flips, splits and holds.
Bike, run, swim, etc ,hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
Regularly learn and play new sports.
