Welcome to Collie Speedway, also known as Make Smoking History Collie Speedway, located in the Shire of Collie. With our website at www. Colliespeedway. com.
au, we provide all the information you need about our sports club.
Collie Speedway officially opened its gates for the first time during the 23/24 season with the annual Curly Fishlock memorial event. Despite facing a wet track early on, drivers showcased their skills and determination throughout the night. The event featured various categories including Junior Sedans, Street Stock, Productions, Legend Cars, and Super Mods, with strong fields in each category. The productions class saw a depleted field after the first heat, but the remaining cars put on a thrilling show.
The highlight of the night was local driver Ken Melvin claiming his first heat win in the Legend Cars, along with impressive performances from Nathan Brennan and Millz Wihone. However, it was Junior Sedan Driver Jake Fisher who ultimately secured the Curly Fishlock Memorial Trophy as the highest points scorer for the night's proceedings, ahead of Street Stock State Champ Jake Hoath.
