Whether or not they have prior experience in Aussie Rules, children can join Auskick in the calendar year they turn 5. Parents are also encouraged to participate and support their children during the sessions.
During the Auskick sessions, which run for just one hour per week, children will have the opportunity to comfortably familiarise themselves with the footy field. The sessions are structured to be enjoyable and engaging, with a touch of organised chaos that allows kids to have a blast while learning and gaining confidence. To ensure fair play, participants are grouped according to their age, with the option for all-girls groups as well. Additionally, there is no need for expensive equipment as Auskickers can wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

Winners of this competition are rewarded with a Grand Final Week experience, the chance to present a medal to their footy heroes at the Grand Final, and $5,000 spending money for the team captain.
